currently have two files in my computer titled "A0105247" (application file) and "INFECTED" (Text Document). these are under "quarantine" by my anti-virus program.

Go to http://www.avast.com and do a scan on their homepage. Then REBOOT AFTER the Viruses have been removed. THEN go back and download their FREE Virus Program then REBOOT again and you will be OK.
Be sure to INSTALL Avast before you shut down and reboot the second time

Go to http://www.mbusbyuk.info/links.html and scroll down the page to free online virus %26 spyware scans.
Select Panda from the free virus scanners.
When you get to the site, click on Scan My Computer.
When it asks you to select which part of your computer to scan, click on My Computer.
This should fix your problem.
