Know any good [Free] Spyware/Adware programs to use?

I have Spy Sweeper, Ad-Aware SE Personal, and Norton Anti-Virus 2005 and they don't seem to do the job. There's still one or two programs running on here when I use all three and sometimes I'll have to manually delete them myself. Please help!

ad-aware and spybot both together work fine, don't listen to others who say to have both is wrong, it was recommended by download.com to have both, and i'm also a tech for over 8 years and do reviews of software for download.com, and to have both of those right now is your best protection, and neither one will conflict, it's a known fact....I run them both myself....

for one thing...Norton sucks, sorry to say, but it does, hogs resources like memory etc, and makes your p.c sluggish, plus it's not really easy to uninstall.

for anti-virus, try AVG or Avast, BOTH are proven to be top of the line right now, all the rest kinda stink in comparison

Having more than one antispyware program may not work. I suggest you to use only one of them. Uninstall one of them, and you should be uninstalling Spy Sweeper because my experience with Spy Sweeper was a wiered one. It was not able to detect spywares from its own partner sites. It's not the case with Ad-Aware SE Personal Edition by Lavasoft. AdAware SE is the best one, update it and uninstall Spy Sweeper.

Hijack This and Spybot Search and Destroy. Both free and when combined with your other programs - should do the trick.

I build, fix and repair computer, My two favorite are Microsofts windows beta defender and Ewido Antispyware. Both do a great job of getting rid of virus, trojans and any malicious software. And theyre both free to download at the link below
try spyware blaster, it helps
