How can i remove spyware and adware from my system manually and safely.......?

i have ad-aware SE s/w and also spy sweeper s/w which only detect spyware and adwares(since they were free downloads).

is it safe to manually delete the files found? if not what can i do in order to remove them permenently and to keep my system running fast?

Ad-aware is a software to detect and, if required, remove the spyware. If you got the personal copy... you'll need to perform manual signature updates every week, prefer every few days...

Spywares are actually cookies that are sent to your computer for verification, tracking, counting, etc... thus it is rather safe to delete them....

SpySweeper is rather good software, but only trial for 30 days (if I'm not wrong) ...

Some adware is impedded in programs and cannot be removed without removing the program. For others AdAware by Lavasoft is very efficient and free.
