Has anyone who uses del.icio.us noticed any new adware or new spam mail of any type?

I just find it hard to believe (actually impossible to believe) that a site like del.icio.us would collect a list of people's personal bookmarks and not somehow try to use that to sell stuff to those people.

If del.icio.us is NOT some sort of marketing information mining company, how exactly do they make their money?

I'm interesting in signing up, but scared because the LAST thing I need is to end up on even more marketing lists somewhere. Thanks YA-ers!
