i have this thing in the lower rigth hand corner of my screen and it doesnt go away no matter what i run. it's called virus protect pro..but ever since i had it my computer doesnt go to yahoo home page..it's just blank and the little icon keeps popping up a bubble sayint system alert. but i think it's fake cuz ever since ive had it ive had problems...and unwanted pop ups. i tryed yahoo anti-spy..also advast and some other ones but nothing removes the icon..even windows security when i restart my comp...but nothing happens. has this ever happened to anyone and if so did you remove it? i dont have money to buy antispyware so is there anything free that i could use?

VirusProtect Pro is installed by a trojan called Zlob, which attempts to trick you into buying the alleged anti-spyware program. This VirusProtect Pro message is used to lure you into purchasing, downloading and installing their program to remove the imaginary spyware.
