Well, I recommend what most of the above have already recommended to you.

AdAware by Lavasoft. Go get it.

But, I think you need a FIREWALL!! Well, you might be experiencing some troubles with your computer because of the security loophole in your computer.

All computers need three things for a tight security-

1- An Antivirus ( I recommend AVG Freeware or Norton)

2- An Antispyware (already recommended)

3- A Firewall, This one is a must and most people don't realise its importance. It keeps you in complete control of your computer. So, if you don't have one, I highly recommend getting one NOW!
